Nina Kramer

Mat & Machine Pilates

Nina fell in love with Pilates after she took her first class while visiting a friend up in Maine in 2012.  She has since completed two 500 hour certification programs from Body Tonic in Brooklyn and Beacon Pilates in the Hudson Valley.    She is certified in the classical method in both mat and apparatus. She also studied Iyengar Yoga for 28 years prior to becoming a Pilates teacher.  She feels that both yoga and Pilates have helped her cultivate a strong body-mind connection, strength, stability and better mobility.  Nina continues to study with her mentors in order to keep things fresh and to expand her repertoire. She feels passionate about the method and wants to share it with anyone who’s willing to try.   She believes Pilates is available to anyone.  It doesn’t matter how old you are or how strong or weak you perceive yourself to be.   If you just jump in and try a few classes, you will feel and see immediate results.
